Re: Miele prestige plus 6 – keeps tripping our RCD please he

That unit you unplugged is the relay for the water heater,so you could have a faulty relay,or a faulty heater itself.. You need tontake the front of the machine off to further inspect the heater…power off at all times. Zap!!
You may find a diagram tucked away in the front as well

It usually helps if you take a few photographs with your mobile phone..from various angles before removal…if its just the single component needs replacing

Sotty by blowing down the tube, i mean disconnect it from the pressure switch, and then blowing down the tube whilst is is disconnected…then re connect

Re: Hotpoint 7kg Ultima Digit WT761 H20 error message

Unplug your machine from the power completely, remove the lid, and look just under the soap drawer, you will find a small tube that leads up to a pressure switch, this usually comes adrift when the machine has been moved, if it is still connected, youncan try blowing down the tube, then re connecting again… This should solve your problem…

    Hi rob
I did have a good look for a hoover machine today, but a fellow engineer is pretty sure it was scrapped a few weeks back!
We get around 100+ machines in per week for recon or scrapping for parts, so chances are we will have another one…

    Sorry

Check the water pump,as this usually kicks in on a reverse action, and i have come across a few of these where it was the carbon blocks in contact with the drum!

Think i may have a old hoover machine somewhere, not able to check till tuesday so will let you know then.
But i do get them in from time to time…it is possible to open them up and clean the contacts sometimes!
But only as a short term fix

I meant The tubing inside the pump needs replacing, not the pump itself
