    Re: New van info

I’ve leased for 10 years+ without service package as all have good warranties and some free servicing for three years anyway.

Only becomes poorer value if you want options on the van. Better if you get off the shelf models.

You can go onto the BVRLA web site and see the fair wear and tear guidelines which takes all the worry away.

I like to lease because to me it is just costing the money that a “bought” van would depreciate by (which vanishes all by itself when you buy, at lease this way you spend it and get something for it) and after three years a flat bed lorry comes with a shiny new one and I wash mine and give it back.

If you like call Nick Venter 0845 519 3459 and he’ll gladly go through all the ups and downs with you. I’ve delt with him for along time. Very helpful in such things ๐Ÿ™‚

    Re: ISE CD601W Low heat

Give the filter a good scrub in the sink. Also check for fluff on the front fan blade due to poor filter maintenance. Run it with temp prob inside to check air temp. Should level off at 70 degrees (ish ) on high heat. If it continues to rise then it is an air flow problem and you will see the temp drop off and go way down then rise again and so on as the stats cut it off because it is over heating. The symptom you get is as if it is on low heat all the time.

Could be the cut out for that oven which has failed. This would give you that problem. Behind the rear panel of that side of the oven. Cheap easy fix.

Test the parts with a meter first and then you will know which you need and save buying a heater or sensor you don’t need. Loads of YouTube vids to show you how and what readings you should get.

Re: Dishwasher help – water not heating

It is most likely the p.c.b. is faulty. When this happens you get no neutral supply to the heater and hence no heat. (This will be why you get 240 at the heater but it doesn’t work)

Re: Diplomat sensordry APM8620 tumble dryer stopped heating

It does have a reset button on the back for the heater but this would not have made it trip the mains. Most likely a faulty heater would be the cause. Cheap enough ๐Ÿ™‚

Go from inside the freezer. Remove ice bin, ice maker, then you can remove the evap, cover and fan cover and bingo there it is ๐Ÿ˜€
