    Hi

Yes it is just that. You can just replace the cap. on that pcb which is usually all that has gone. 🙂

You’re welcome and you’re right. No need to be arsey when you’ve made a perfectly innocent query. It only fuels the fire. Which it has.

Happens to me all the time when i talk to my wife about something random then get my head blown off. 😆

    Re: Payment for services

Not sure on the “legality” But if the company took payment immediately before making a visit to quote then it only stands to reason that they would take payment for the quoted repair too as un-returnable parts may have been ordered specially which a repairer can’t be stuck with without payment.

So i myself would have expected the payment to be taken even if they forgot to mention it. You cant expect credit without credit checks etc which take time when you just need a repair.

If the repair is done and they charged what was quoted then apart from a small delay there would seem to be no problem. Why go after them just because they forgot that bit if it is not “legal”, if all is done and well. You have pointed it out to them so they are aware and will most likely be more diligent.

A quick call to trading standards is you best bet on the legal stand i would say. 😀

    We all make mistakes.

Faulty mains suppressor could be the issue.

    Hi

Even if you could source the parts which is unlikely they would almost certainly cost more than you paid for the fridge at a guess. 😕

What cycle is it sticking on? Is it full or empty when it sticks or does it just carry on washing and stay at 40?

Blocked pressure chamber/intermittent pump fault or dodgy board are only thoughts atm.

Boomerangs……I so wish we could charge D&G customers! 😀

    Its noisy…….no its fine

    Its noisy…….no its fine

    Its noisy…….no its fine

“Hello D&G your agents been out five times (3 is five when you have a beko) and its still noisy”

“Oh really well we’ll send you a new washer then”

Then the daughter mysteriously has the same “its noisy but its not problem” and so it goes on 😕

You don’t get the back you need from others like you do from ISE and Amica. On occasion I’ve been paid when a customer has been out and the call has been long distance and they wouldn’t pay a missed call charge. People don’t learn unless this happens. But your Repaicares etc are more bothered about what if the customer doesn’t renew their policy.

When a problem like this is classed as user fault will their warranty be void if they refuse to pay the bill when a call is made? Only as ise10 customers tend to be a bit more uperty than your average joe. You know….like miele customers……Rangerover sport but bald tyres…….M5 lookalike that’s 530 diesel 😀

O.k. so whirlpool supply the bearing separate but if you want the bearing seal you have to buy the cross piece complete with bearing and seal in it. Nice!

Re: ISE 10 leak from soap drawer

Yeah i saw that bit about the “solution” but the low pressure was the “reason” which is the main thing i was trying to point out if you get me 😀
I rang him this morning to check about the leaks and it’s been o.k. so far(But don’t want to speak too soon!)

Re: ISE 10 leak from soap drawer

O.k. so had already asked customer to use appliance for a week before visit to eliminate soap any issues for this case. The liquid detergent tray still wouldn’t syphon and still a small leak pretty much every wash.
Simplest thing found was that he has his cold water tap turned right down (Cust. has solar panels and wanted more hot water to go into machine) when looking into the drawer while filling (with the insert/drawer taken out) Even though water is running out of the jets it also slowly collects allover the underneath of the inside of the drawer (round the jets)then onto the metal of the cabinet round the top of the drawer until the droplets are big enough to drip onto the front edge of the dispenser and either back into the drawer or down the front of the machine.
With the pressure low the syphon action wont work as it just runs out of the back of the drawer before getting high enough to start syphoning.
Turning the pressure back up seems to help as the water level is reached quicker so droplets don’t have time to collect so much and the liquid detergent fills more vigorously to allow it to syphon.
Couldn’t get it to leak again while i was there and cust. is of course going to be on the phone if it leaks.
I’ve ordered a new dispenser so i can have a better look at it/play with different pressures coming through and post pic’s of what it does. I didn’t take his old dispenser off to look any further as i don’t want there to be anything “wrong” with the machine from the customers point of view.
Of course all this may be wrong if the guy rings on Monday and says it is still leaking!! But it would explain random leaks as pressures are different and some prog’s/loads fill longer than others?
