I’d probably be looking at a no heat fault , checking water levels/pressure chamber first.

Make sure the wheel behind the reed switch is spinning freely and that there is sufficient water pressure. I’ve also had to fit a second new contact (flow rate ) on a couple of occasions with the initial one being faulty.

If the door handle is broken , the easiest way is to pull back on thehandle , shine a torch down to see the hook then insert a small flat bladed screwdriver and pop the hook open. 10 secs max.

    Re: Neff dishwasher cover

The special tool fits 3 separate nuts within the dishwasher. Its used to release the nut as shown in electrofix diagram by firing within the 6 triangular holes . It also fits the salt pot sealing nut and the small vent nut on the lower left hand side within the tub. Unfortunately, I don’t know the part number off the top of my head but I will try and find it.

It should clear if anything appears when you reconnect. The only thing I would say is that on the occasions I’ve seen this , I can’t remember it bringing up any errors prior to failure. Worth a shout though.

A failure of one of the smaller components can cause the display to go blank. You could try disconnecting each one in turn to see if the display comes back to life. Ie 3D sensor , inlet valve , pressure switch etc

Not a known problem as far as I’m aware. Don’t think there’s been any increased failure rate when in comparison to older designs……now , heat pumps , that’s a different matter 🙂

Re: Siemans condenser dryer WT46W567GB/16 – No heat

It beeped and stopped probably because it sensed there was no wet load in the drum. Its quite difficult to diagnose ‘no heat’ faults on these appliances. They do take longer to dry on the sensor programmes ( can be 4hrs + on a full towel load) and as you’ve seen , the heat produced is much lower than usual. Because of their design , they don’t like cold outdoor type locations (sheds/garages etc) especially when temps start to fall. What was the actual complaint?

Probably the main oven selector switch. Have had 2 recently with these symptons and both were cured with a new selector switch.

Funnily enough , I went to one today and found its this old method of resetting faults/entering test programme. I wish they’d make their bloomin minds up about which method to use !

Nearly always the ‘contact’ – the little flow rate pcb’ . The small wheel within the heat exchanger can jam so make sure it’s spinning when the water comes in.

Never changed a Brushless motor yet. The juddering and stiffness sound usual. If they start getting Error codes in the 50’s or 70’s then it may be a motor module fault. These appliances are very sensitive to small heavy loads causing out of balance problems though.

F29 , off the top of my head , is a flow rate meter fault so it could be low water pressure or the flow rate meter which is built into the valve.

I think it’s selector switch to 6 o’clock, hold spin speed button and one click clockwise.

    Re: Bosch WAK24260GB/17 motor.

They don’t fail that often . There are occasions when the motor gets noisy (even from new) and that can cause problems with the 3D sensor (probably electrical noise interference) The ones that do fail tend to show up fairly early in their life .
