ParticipantRe: Bosch WTE84301GB Getting too hot
Check the condenser fan on the RHS making sure it’s not blocked.

Check the water level after approx 12 minutes. If it seems higher than usual, it may be the heat exchanger valve allowing water to overfill tank. If you can access the error codes , look for E08

Power/control module at rear most probably.

If it’s got a large module lowdown at the back, then that module may well be your problem.

If the door ropes/strings haven’t previously snapped , then I’d be pretty sure the bent inner door , if it’s adjacent to the hinges ,is the cause. Probably someone has fallen/stepped on the door when it was open.

If its a full metal Tank then it’s most likely to be the sump seal. They leak but normally only on the higher temp washes. There is an additional seal kit that can be fitted – in situ – or it requires a new improved sump.

Is it a full metal Tank or a polinox plastic base machine ?

It sounds like it’s resetting to the default temp? IIRC , these are the electronic controlled ovens with a PTC as opposed to a mechanical stat so I’d be looking at either the switch selector or control/relay module.

You put the white block/rope through the gap of the spring in an upright position then you pull the rope and the block goes sort of underneath

ParticipantRe: Bosch won’t start?
Ask her to try and start it with the door open . If she gets the same 2 bleeps , it may well be the door lock faulty.

Nice & simple can all be done through the front access panel.I’ve done *cough cough* a fair few but never through the front. Personally takes me 10/15 mins from the side although I know some of the lads can do them through the front. Do you leave the original hose clip in position or fit the new jubilee clip ?

The coding that needs changing is the ME section. There souks be a number on the for label that starts with ME i think and it’s important that this is correctly entered on the coding. The correct setting should be on the coding sheet.
