the model number doesn’t sound familiar . Normally Neff models start with a B or a U . It’s probably labelled as ENr on the identification plate – the number after ENr will be the model number – Have alook to see if you have any more info

    Re: Siemens Oven isn’t heating

One thing to be wary of. When you pull the element fwd , the power cables go through a hole into the rear of the machine . Be careful when pulling these through as its a tight fit and gently easing the element/cable connectors through the hole will save the cables being pulled off and you having to get the oven out of its housing to take the rear panel off to re-connect them

is the machine’s drain hose connected to a sink waste or just a free standing drain ? If its connected to the sink drain , i’d take the drain hose off there and check for a blockage/obstruction there next .

    Re: Bosch dishwasher SGS66E0

A lot of Bosch dishwashers have ‘pulsing’ pumps so that would prob be normal. If the heater is ok and the water heats up on the initial cycle of a wash , i’d be looking at the pressure chamber on the bottom rhs corner of the LHS side chamber. What happens is that after the initial fill , the pressure switch is made to let the appliance know its full of water but if crudded up , it sticks in this position so the appliance thinks its still full at the beginning of the next fill cycle so won’t fill properly .
    Hope this helps

    Re: Bosch dishwasher SGS66E0

Does it actually stop one minute from the end or does it show a number one in the timer and takes ages to do the cycle – A number one in the display normally means one of two things –
    1. Heater o/c or….
    2. Low water fill levels on 2nd fill due to crudded up pressure chamber/blocked ribbed hose between pressure chamber/main sump. Low water levels means no heating and so extended wash times

    Re: bosch wtl6103 dryer

There is often a note in the instruction booklet that advises on this particular ‘phenomenon’ (sp?) . Apparently its to do with moisture distribution in the clothes . They often feel damp when thye first come out of the dryer but if left , folded and piled up , 15mins later they should feel better ……so the book says 😉

    Re: Bosch won’t take conditioner

The normal way i used to deal with this prob was , as has been mentioned by someone already , a cable tie – However , having just bought a set of bottle brushes ( for the dishwasher prob ) , i’ve discovered that the smaller sized brushes will fit into the holes and give a much better clear-out – I have in the past also cut out the small dividers , thus making the four small holes one big hole !!!

On the models with loads of small holes in the central conditioner section , it is possible to ‘unclip’ the front of this bit and flex it downwards giving you access to the inside area which allows you to give it a real good clean .

What i have also done when replacing the upper dispenser tray is keep the old one and when a get a bit of spare time , give it a good clean out and hey presto ! a nearly new upper dispenser tray ready as a stand-by when needed

    Re: Bosch WFF2000 Removing brushes

Hi GandG , that is a good description but not applicable to the motor this person has . The brushes on this motor are much simpler to remove/replace , only needing a wire tag removed and then sliding them about a bit to get them out .
Penguin explains this earlier in the thread 😉

judging by the Fd number , your appliance may still be in its warranty period – 2yrs from date of purchase . It may be worth talking to Bosch to see if they can send someone out

Aah…the old child-lock problem. Glad to see you got it sorted. Can be a costly error if you have to call someone out 🙁

    Re: sgs43a42gb/01

If its a grey plastic base model , you may need to replace the flow meter on the fill hose . If this goes faulty , you will get constant filling and then the drain pump will come as the ‘mushroom’ overfill switch is made .

check out previous`posts concerning lack of/low water levels . You’re probably looking at a blocked ribbed hose or pressure chamber
