    Cheers guys.. I have emailed Dave.. I did try the usual Smeg web page but thought Servast may have gone bust or shut down when the page didn`t open! not used it for a while..

    I am going back tomorrow will check.. There are two on this one in exhaust and one attached to the element with a safety cut out. Thanks for your help!

    I don’t suppose you know what this one should be? Mind I have ordered a new one so hopefully it will be miles away from the new one 🙂

    As long as your privaladged to have the technical info to know what the ambient resistance should be! Or am I missing something are they all the same?

    I have checked model number martin it is correct.. I take pictures of the plates these days for my records but more for my crap eye site 🙂

    Did you get any joy with hinges? I have just picked up a job where hinges worn.. nothing wrong with door. Hinges must come from somewhere?

    Thanks for your quick reply repman.. now I just need to know how to put the code in :)not had to do one before. I have other service manuals down loaded I will check through. thanks again.

    I wasn`t that good with my records with ISDAL, tended to trust there system! I can traul back through my records but it will be a pain in the ass and time consuming.

    The parts they have billed me for have been invoiced back to ISDAL and Ernst Young should have a record of it. They have probably aready been paid by the manufactuor for them also, so they are obviously trying to get paid twice. Not a chance in hell..

    I have just received a letter from Ernst & Young today.. Thinking it might be advise on how to submit a claim or even checque 🙂 to settle the £700 or so labour owed by ISDAL. No chance they have invoiced me for parts used on behalf of ISDAL customers.. £300!!

    These are very old machines.. no enr number that I could recognise. other numbers on the plate were 6.221.01.10 LAVAB, Neff 6544WM also L80085F02516
    I have picked up 2 identical machines with leaking pumps in a week!! both customers would repair as both work fine other than leaking and would rather do without the £6/700 replacement
