They blow up with alarming frequency. If you want it quickly, order 165201 from http://www.bshappliancecare.com with your credit card and you’ll get it the following day. Your appliance is a licence built Bosch with a badge on the front, so shares components with it.

Re: Bosch not cleaning in top rack (rotor is clean!)

Simon, this machine cannot syphon due to the air break in the fill/drain matrix.

The problem will be either that the machine is underfilling – usually caused by a partial blockage of the transfer hose in the front left corner of the chassis – or that the circulation pump is failing in some way. I had one last week running on the start winding only, giving exactly the same symptons.

Either way, it’s a bit of a demolition job to sort out, so pro help may be your best option. Check repairs@ or Directories for a UKW repairer in your area.

Power off if you’re going inside.

Re: Ariston Margharita AWD 12S not draining water

When cleaning out the filter you need to get right into the rear chamber where the impellor is. Hands, knees and a torch. If this is clear and the impellor will turn freely with a “pinging” action, you probably have a failed pump.

should be the one you want.

If you’re not sure, check repairs@ or Directories for a UKW repairer in your area.

Power off if doing anything other than checking the filter.

10 – 13 gallons was typical on these older machines. Also bear in mind that the dryer will use a pint a minute for the condenser when drying.
