Participant£80-90 is typical for company service these days.
Heater is accessible from the underside of the appliance. From memory the thermistor is in the door, the safety stat is underneath and the electronics are all in the top panel. The code means under temperature, so check heater and safety first.
Pull the plug before doing anything.

Dragan,
Appctr may be better able to help you if you could post up the model number – around the door opening or under the pump cover are good places to look; usually a number starting M—-.Regards,

ParticipantRe: Fisher Paykel Washer Mainboard Fault
You’re not going to like this very much, but your control board has gone. The various codes indicate temperature control failure, water level contol failure and motor control failure and all have the subtext “Contol board failure” – except 0000 0001, which is specifically a board failure. 🙁

ParticipantIt should be a snap fit into the supply tube. Dave Conway should be able to sort this one for you, but it will be Monday due to the conference this weekend.

ParticipantMike,
If it’s not on the door or casing surround, there will certainly be a rating label somewhere on the oven casing. You will have to undo the (usually) 4 securing screws and ease the oven forward to check. If this is a double oven unit get help, they are astonishingly heavy.

Participanthttp://www.cometspares.co.uk is the online site. If you can post the model number up we may be able to cross refer it to the original makers part and thus save you a few bob.

ParticipantChris,
It’s that damn SMEG built machine, board faults quite common. If you can post up the board number, Dave Conway can probably find it as a SMEG part, which is definitely cheaper.Gen part is 4812 282 18679 + VAT.
