ParticipantRe: AEG B1180-1
You need THIS CHAPPIE. It’s an induction device which turns on the cooling fan.
It’s ty-wrapped into the wiring loom on top of the oven and will almost certainly look black and charred when you find it.
Power off if you intend to sort this yourself.

ParticipantRe: AEG 40740 sensor logic not heating water
Given that AEG is just a Lux group brand these days and shares a very similar pcb to your Zanussi (another Lux group brand) d/w, a similar failure is a good bet.
If not, the heater itself may have failed – a resistance test with a multimeter would be required to be certain.
Stay safe – power off at all times.

ParticipantRe: Hygena 8122 fault
Pretty much answered your own question, really. Socket must be breaking down internally. You’ll probably find the innards cooked when you swap it.
Stay safe – power off.

ParticipantRe: get1a2’s Question Thread.
That machine has a three phase induction drive system, so will be nice and quiet. It has the EWM2000 series electronic control system, which is vulnerable – door lock and pump failures regularly take out the electronics. It also has a polypropylene tub assembly, which is welded shut. In the event of drum bearing failure or a particularly awkward blockage, the tub unit will require replacement as an assembly. Much ££££.

Can we get this out of the way, once and for all? UKW does not and will not judge or comment on anyones ability to spell, grammatise, use punctuation or the keyboard in general. Comments have been made before and are among the very, very few posts which get deleted. The posters usually get a bit of a kicking behind the scenes as well.
When you get down to the trade forums, we’re all engineers. The site exists to help each other solve our problems and help each other. There is nothing to apologise for.
Garn, if you need any help, use the PM system to contact any of the Moderators. We’re a nice bunch. Really. Honest……

ParticipantRe: Bosch SRS43C12GB Slimline pump problem
Er, no. The drain pump is in the front left hand corner of the machine. The outlet from the drain pump feeds the rear two tubes in the matrix.
If you go onto http://www.bshappliancecare.com and follow the spare parts links into the eshop, you can pull up the exploded diagrams for your machine – it might be a bit clearer then.

ParticipantRe: SMEG DWI612C Dishwasher – Error Code E6
If you are certain that the machine is pumping out fully, the problem will lie with the water level control system. The code means no drain detected in the time allowed, so the pressure switch may have failed in the closed position, or there is a blockage in the chambers or pipework preventing the switch from de-pressurising.
Power off before you start pulling panels off.
