funkybookgy i agree totally on your first two points but not with privatising the nhs everyone should be intitled to decent health care regardless!!! Health and education are two things that shouldn’t be touched altough the goverment seem hell bent and making them cost efective! One way to save money and bring down the price of oil is to stop going to war with the americans! I also agree don’t vote don’t moan although it is becoming difficult to find anything decent amongst the our so called leaders.
Diesel is 109 round here thinking about converting the van to run on veggy oil kit to convert is £500 but 40p a litre if you buy it not has bad for the enviroment only problem is you will smell like a mobile chip shop lolRe: Fault with Miele W970
If remember right think rinses light flashing means no signal from motor tacho generator could be carbon brushs,tacho,wiring loom or pcb!!! all of which are very expensive i would recomend you get an expert in! sorry 😥

sorry mate there does not seem to be a part number for it!!! the only thing i can find is temp reg k56-l1895 or temp reg k56-l1870 but them aint part numbers unless they are part numbers from the manfacturer try liebrere or however you spell it sorry cant be of no more help 😥

DONT DO IT! VERY VERY EXPENSIVE!!! And i hear that they had more then a few problems with them i don’t know if they sorted them out but they did have problems! Plus are they not all intergrated? So if they do go faulty you either have to get a new one or try to find something to fill the odd shaped hole. And some models only take certain types of capsules which you had to buy from them!! But it’s your decision its just something to think about 😉

Just to say old type miele drums have nearly 4000 holes in them and there new honey comb drum has nearly 600! but gets rid of more water i was bored this morning so i thought i would go and count them shuld get out more!!!!! 😉

Hi has already said you need to test the inlet valve which is the grey box that you described but that box is a sealed unit so you will have to trace the wires into the machine if i remember correctly they are on a push fit type connector and do a contiuity test from there remember power off first!!! And make sure that your water supply is ok to machine. I got a nasty feeling those inlet valves are £100ish and only available from miele unless someone else nows where to get them cheaper!

Hello be sure it is the bearings the bearings dont go very often on these machines at all i have seen loads of miele and not once had to do the bearings! it is a big job and miele price the bearing kit in the region of £120 just for the bearings!! nothing else! think you would be better getting an engineer in first to make sure it is the bearings and not something else like something in the drum, pump, shock absorbers etc very good machines just expensive

If it pumps out i should imagine the water has been let into the machine in the begining so i should imagine the cold valve (but cant remember if there is a double cold valve on this model dont think there is) is ok unless it only fills on a boil wash. If you have to manually turn the dial around a click to move things on and its filling ok heating the water ok and emptying the water ok and spinning ok i would be looking towards the timer.

No it does not need a new part where the filter is is the lowest part of the machine so its usuall to see water in there.
