    Re: Bosch dw door seal

Hi Bob thanks they normally are but this one didn’t have anything etched onto it, i cleaned the whole door up, shone a bright torch onto it and spent ages carefully checking the whole area, there is definitely nothing on there. I am really stuck because there is no number on there anywhere, i have tried searching Bosch dw door seals on connect and putting the enr numbers into the Bosch site and seeing if any are for this type of machine but no joy 🙁 any help on this would be really great

    Thanks Helo
EMW could not help with a PCB with that programme file
I have replaced alot of PCB to this Model and never had a problem.
The machines in my workshop, put on test wash and dry,few hours later
went to workshop still on dryer, and very hot,the paddles had completely melted, The customer had allready ordered a new machine Im glad to say.

    Yes i have checked wiring
replaced loom to valve, the wire to one valve that that was not replaced i checked several times and fitted new wiring just to be sure,
besides both valves work but not together
interesting about Eprom, I have never fitted one, Allways used EMW
I will ring Tony at EMW tomorrow.

Found it, Thanks to Tony at EMW.
I had looked at plug to PCB and it looked perfect, It was only when i levered
cover away to show wire connections i could see were it was shorting.
Connect stock valve harness. About £7
    😀

    Re: Why is it….

I tell every customer on the the phone what the labour charge will be,
plus the cost of parts,Even if its an old customer, It makes them think about payment. And if they have a problem about price or payment thats their chance to say.
If i suspect they have not got the money or not left the money,
I put tool box down, look at worksheet and say, So its a Hotpoint, not emptying
And when i finished you will pay me £45 + the cost of parts, Is that right, And get a reply.
If they cannot pay, Do not start job

Re: Bosch Maxx WFL2260 – Poor quality wash

Ask them to show you how much powder or Liquid they use.
In hardwater London,90{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of poor wash faults Are user faults, Overloading or not using enough Powder/liquid.
If they use powder they rarely use measured amount
    I recommend tablets.
Load=3/4 full dry washing. When it fills and tumbles, Should be half way up glass when stationery.
If necessary put wash on before you leave, phone later to check OK

Re: How should i deal with this?

“I dont make much money on them in fact it just about covers my time”

You should be making £80 on each machine,
Or get them to order it and you charge for installation
