    Hi Seamy,

You’ve got me thinking now. I had both plugs unplugged from the heater plug when testing but now from what you are saying it needs the ntc plug connected before it will power up the heater?

    Thanks,
    Ray

No, from memory the motor was around £100+vat from connect and they didn’t have any stock.
The customer was in a rush to get it sorted so got a new machine.

    Re: Beko DCU8230

Just been back and its still not working.
I have neutral at the heater plug but no live. Looking at the diagrams the live comes straight from the board but something is stopping it I just cant work out what.
I hope you have better luck tomorrow!

    Cheers,

Hi Dave, I don’t know if you have seen the other post about cleaning the sensor strips? I am going back tonight to try this and have another look over it.

    Cheers,

Had one like this the other day, I also changed the module but it didn’t fix it. From doing a search on here it seems that its a motor fault.

    Re: Beko dcu8230 condenser dryer

    Hi,

I have one of these with no heat but the customer did say it did work once after they first noticed it stopped heating.
Can you tell me where the sensor strips are please.

    Cheers,
    Ray

    Re: Beko DCU8230

    Hi Dave,

Thanks for the info, I will go back armed with that and see if I can sort it out.
I did try it with wet clothes and also on the timed setting but still no heat.
I hope I can sort it as these dryers seem to be getting popular round this way and searching through old posts it looks like its a common fault, just a pity no one has come up with a fix for it yet or if they have they haven’t posted up.

    Thanks again,
    Ray

Thanks Chris, you don’t have a part number by any chance do you? Just looking through the list of spares on connect and it brings up no ptc

Re: Smeg Range Model suk91mfx5 Error code FU14

    Hi, Thanks for that.
It does work until FU14 comes up then it switches off. If he switches it off at the mains and then back on it will work again for a while. He’s a sparky so I have told him to bypass the timer for the moment and see how it goes.

    Hi,

Did you ever get to the bottom of this one, I have one that’s doing the same and I was going to replace the power board but I am unsure now if I should get involved or not.

    Cheers
