Yes Mike, being an expert now having done my first one 😛 I can see no way to change the motor or seal on this without the tank off on this model.
I think PINKY is having a giraffe unless he can tell me how.
    Come on PINKY explain 😆

This has as much room around it as a train in a tunnel.
    Ah well, live and learn.

Well, I took the thing apart, renewed the seal kit and put it back together and now water pours out of the seal that the impeller housing fits into. It is very loose so it might have been that all along 😳 But why would it get so bad? Vibration of the motor?
    Ordered and on its way.
The first time I’ve taken one of these apart and thanks again to Martin for the instructions. Not as scary as I thought.

.very poor quality , but remember this is the same machine you cant renew paddles as well – new tub unit if paddles come off ..

    Hi Ally,
is it the same on a WM7127W?
Got one to go to tomorrow with the paddles off.

    Thanks loopey.
Any idea which, red hose or clear?
Two other points after another look.
Heater seems to be o/c but will check again…would this cause this?
Water coming into the tub is salty and when it tries to cycle bubbles come from the hole in the bottom of the sump so could the water softener be faulty?

I’ve looked on Qualtex and Connect and they look the same. having now visited I can see it’s the equivalent of the Hotpoint model so ordered it.

    Never thought of that Martin.
If not then the chances of it being the pcb??? or could the pressure switch be at fault? although it did click just the once.

That seems like a very good tip 8)

    Hi Dr Dill,
I’ve been with them for about 4 years, not a lot of work but fairly good rates and pay quickly into bank account. Can be sticky on part prices and may ask for a copy of your suppliers invoice but it hasn’t happened to me but I don’t take the micky.
