They are all satisfying once the cash is in my back pocket. The less time I spend doing a job the better I like it 😆

    Thanks,
Before I went she said it was draining ok but in reality when I got there it was full of water. Both drain hoses clogged with sludge as was the anti-syphon matrix and the thin hose to the soap drawer. Took and age to clean them and a splattering of the sludge over me but the job was done. 😆

    Thanks for the explanation Ken.
The truth is none of us out here actually know what goes on behind the scenes at ISE or any manufacturers so that is an insight well worth noting.
    Thanks again.

    Re: ISE 2

I’ve downloaded the tech manual and your diagram so will go armed and can trace the wiring from that PCB photo. Very poor connections on the board so it may be something there. Thanks again.

    Re: ISE 2

    Thanks Jim,
Had the new board and went fit it and nothing except the start light on. No fill, motor nothing but the door locks. The new board is beige but the old one was green, does this have any bearing on it?
No fault showing with either the old or new boards. The connections are flimsy but I crimped them up.
Not sure what to do next, could it be a faulty board?
    Any help most welcome.

The warranty states, quite clearly, that blockages by foreign objects are not covered.

    K.
Just got access to this forum so sorry if it is a bit old.

I was under the impression that “foreign object” was something that should not be in the machine ie: money, jewellery, toys etc.
A sock is a legitimate item for a washing machine and surely it is the fault of the washer if the door seal is allowing this or other clothing to slip past. In 28 years I have never had a claim rejected for a sock in the sump hose.
Maybe petalpop should have renewed the door seal.

Either programme selector or facia pcb. I have taken selectors apart and tweaked the tags inside and sometimes they come good but not always.
    pcb 502020600
    selector 502016600
Also some ribbon cables can short
Last thing, is it being reset to “off” when switched on to clear the memory.
power on, selector to off, power off then on again for 10 secs. Sorry if you know this 😆

Yes I’m an agent but have never had authorisation for the ISE forum despite several requests.

Enough to make you want to be gay.
    I wouldn’t go that far Lee 😉

    Martin,
I know just where you are. Every day gets harder to motivate myself to go out of the front door by 10.00 until I get the first job done and paid for but the next morning just the same.
I know that as with other jobs I’ve had (London bus driver) one day that will be it. byeeeeseee bye.
Don’t think it’s too far off so check back in 4 years 8)

On the only one I have done the heads were so rusty they burred as soon as any pressure put on them so I had to drill.
