I’ve got one for £5 +p/p if you want it but probably too late.

ParticipantRe: Washing machine bearing press
No wonder mine is a pain, I never had springs but I tend to mix and match with my Servis extractor from 1985

ParticipantRe: Washing machine bearing press
Looks like mine from Qualtex but where are the extracting parts for the main bearing Martin?

ParticipantRe: Credit Card Scam
A couple of years ago I lost £3000 on a debit card to a local Shell garage. They caught the bu88gers and slapped their wrists but my bank said they had got hundreds of thousands. I was supposedly in Canada but several of my customers have been in Phillipines, France and all over the world. Lloyds were great and refunded inside a week. I now have a £1000 limit credit card for fuel and parts and they ring me if they think there is a dodgy transaction.

ParticipantRe: Hotpoint VTD60 t/dryer
It’s ok Jim, the customer decided to get a White Knight as she has had problems with it for two years before they called me. Makes me wonder why they rang me in the first place.

I got mine from Qualtex about ten years ago for less than half the Hotpoint price at the time. Not sure if they still do one though.

ParticipantRe: Hotpoint VTD60 t/dryer
Thanks Jim,
It was o/c but I’ve never seen one before on a Hotpoint dryer.
I agree about the PCB but suppose I needed a backup.

JTM should hold a stock and cheaper than Connect

What can I say 😆
Thanks a lot lads, thermal fuse it was. One happy hotel and me feeling a bit richer.
The wiring diagrams were removed by electricians rewiring the hotel who were asked to look at it and stuck behind a box of Persil. You never know I might have worked it out on my own had I found them.
Thanks again.

ParticipantRe: work dead
Quite busy down here and not much time to sit in the garden but since the planes started again the sun is hazier.
Oh by the way….thanks Argos for all the rubbish you are selling 😆robbra
ParticipantRe: WHIRLPOOL 3RLEQ8000KQ2
Thanks Brian for all the help and diagram, it threw me at first with all temps in Farenheight but I think you have solved it.
Mike, Connect brings up the wrong one so your tip of the wording got the right one. Wouldn’t have thought of that 😳
Will keep you posted.

Hi Simps,
never got anything but that’s the part and open circuit.
Connect have a part WPL481925228115, different shape but seems to be the one. What do you think?
If it works a beer will wing it’s way to yourobbra
ParticipantRe: WHIRLPOOL 3RLEQ8000KQ2
Went back today.
Found what I think is the thermal fuse, looks like a white plastic part about 2 inches long with 2 tags in black. It is open circuit so will this stop everything working, just nothing at all?
I also found a 4 tag stat next to it with the two end closed and the middle ones o/c. Is this right?
The heater has live only to all terminals’
The motor is fluff free.
Just can’t think this would cause the whole thing to die.

ParticipantRe: .PDF file malware attack.
I use Foxit Reader, smaller and faster so hope it isn’t vulnerable.
