When I order from Connect I put on the address bar “if out leave at front door” and they do. No problems and saves me not getting a delivery. Mind you I was in when the last driver, a relief, reversed into a neighbours wall, split the brickwork and did a quick runner leaving door stops and a rear light in the drive…….but they’re gonna get him 😈

    Re: Call Divert

I think in the 14 yrs of having my mobile the number of cold calls would be less than 30 and with the bluetooth stuck to my ear all day long the inconvenience of ‘phonecalls is minimal. Press the button to answer and keep on working and again to end. It’s the best bit of kit £ for £ in a long time except when an old dear shouts ” what’s that in your ear” because she thinks it’s a hearing aid 😆

Well it’s up and running so just need the ‘phone to ring now and of course remember to turn it on before I leave home……but I forgot today 😳

    Re: Call Divert

As I’m not on a business deal BT is the same call charge structure.
Looks like it is a universal system but will check out some others although being in the sticks some providers can’t connect here.

Unfortunately you can’t split the tub to change the bearings unless you carry a brace and bit 😆
Bet they never go unlike nowadays.

I know this has probably been said before but..
get home and message on the ansaphone and when you ring them they say “Oh, I got someone else when you didn’t ring me back in 10 minutes” despite my mobile no on the message. Maybe I should get calls transferred to my mobile. Just going to check.

Haier, aka Haus aka HEC have splitable drums but as I found out yesterday the pulley bolt, with a torx head is made of butter (just so soft the torx rounds off the head) and no way can it be removed so if you go to one take a new bolt. Also they have 14mm 😕 nuts for the concrete weights and you need a deep socket too. Didn’t get any further to find out what other cr*p I will find when I get to split it.

    Coopers Cookers????? Funbobby?
Portway are very good and I think its £200 for free delivery. Amica(rubbish polystyrene) and refrigeration are competetive and helpful on the ‘phone.
