    Well I tried the solenoid but still no joy, first light flashing and pump running continuously, flood m/sw ok but run out of options now.
    Any help welcome but not holding out much hope.

    Steve,
    you were right again 😯
    Fixed that and then it pumped and filled at the same time when it should be spinning but no spin so she has a spare Bosch so keeping that.

    Exactly what i was thinking..the definition of optimism to be sure :mrgreen:

    But anything over eight years old is likely to be before Indesit got their hands on the GDA products so they will last a lot longer than the messed up rubbish since they took over. I’ve just rebuilt a WM washer and it is lovely.

    Hi Martin,
    Pump is fine but no power to it and pressure pot is clear.

    had a look but not sure which it is, has anyone a diagram for this model and if I bypass it won’t it just run all the time?

    Snap!!!
    I had a good week last month and on the Friday the head gasket went and warped the cylinder head. Still waiting for the bill 👿

    Hi lerch,
    turn off, select stop, turn on and wait 10 seconds then select programme and start. You have to wait on stop with it on to clear any memory in the module. Some of them have the start light flash to indicate it has cleared but I don’t think the 6500 does.
    The manual is next to useless and I always advised customers to recycle them BEFORE reading 8) .
