Well Martin, I’ve got a saw, tape measure, chisel, mallet and a screwdriver so why not? 😉

Just been to a cocky sod who is a chippy.
I look after the commercial machines in a rest home(but his wife won’t let him near the Creda 1000)
Oh! I said do you do insulation tests with your megger then?….What’s that he said. PR*CK I said.
    He didn’t have a clue.

    Re: Servis Module

Module definitely correct. As you will know the module controls everything on this machine and there are no modifications so perhaps it is faulty from new which is not unheard of but unusual. I’ve never come across this particular problem so have suggested all I can.
Good luck and I will look forward to the solution.

    Re: Servis Module

These modules often burnt and if you had to break off the old plastic plug and replace with amp tags then you could have put the wires back incorrectly. The wires will have numbers on them, 1-10 so make sure they are in order. The 1 on the module no. is just the supplier to Servis but if the old module was there from new then you have the right part.

    Thanks all,
Steve, stitched yes, even the replacement is £28.91 with Connect. EMW is £29.90 for repair.
I think a word with John at MAS is due.

I use Ambersil but usually take the door off if fitting an element or fan motor.

    Re: servis cd?

Trouble with this is that it needed to be updated regularly from July 2002 but it updated to pc not to the disc and was stopped about 2006 when Merloni website went live so it is very out of date.

    Re: Worst Week Ever

My last week was really good until FRIDAY 13TH, blew head gasket on the van and £300 bill and not completed until next Monday 😥
Still, I was going to have a week off in December but brought it forward for decorating and tax return 😥
    So, yes, Worst week ever

Should be able to get it from Qualtex but not sure of the part no. Had 2 on the van for about 2 years and used them both 2 weeks ago 😀

Nice machines and well worth doing but spider and bearings needed, wouldn’t do without a spider. About 1h 15 and pretty easy. I charge £85 and check brushes too.

I know, this one was fitted by someone else 6 weeks ago and refuses to go back but I’ll give 6 months and keep fingers crossed 😆

    Re: Neff fan oven elements

    Hi all,
Have a half moon element oven and it trips consumer unit but as soon as it is reset it will go again for 5 mins and trip again. Straight away it reads 4 ohms but after 10 seconds is up to 24 ohms so will change the element and hope for the best unless anybody has any other ideas.
