    Thanks BSH,
Is it repairable or a new board?

    Re: Ariston AWD10 Flashing Update????

Had a couple of these this year and now refuse if it’s eight flashes. I was advised to check that the connections to the board were tight, and checked through the m/c and all was fine so got boards from EMW and fitted them. They started ok but went eight flashes again so it must be something other than the board that didn’t show up. Luckily EMW will take them back for a small fee.
With the inherent reliability problems on Merloni products I will do some but not the eight flashes.
This is not a reflection on EMW, who are a real boon for us engineers and their refurb boards are definitely better than the originals, but on Merloni and their electrics.

First one I did took an hour involved the customer and her husband 😳 Then read on here about Fairy Liquid, I now put a screwdriver in the door lock and one through the hinge hole and take about 20 mins max.

    Pyrolitic oven seal
Connect £29.20+ £5.50 post +vat SRP £41.98 out of stock
Distriparts £17.35 inc of vat and postage

    Thanks Merv,
Brought it home and did it your way starting at the hinge and used a small filler knife and it came apart quite easily so thanks for the advice.
