    Re: Whirlpool AWM8163 F11

hard to say but its sounds like the F11 is from the lack of tacho action. if you have a motor, no harm in plugging one in. If its coming up with f11, it sounds like the timer is ok. cheers

Hi, try connections on ribbon cable between timer and control module. If no joy…new timer/power board

    Re: whirlpool awo9663 f11

F11= timer/power board. Although sometimes F11 can be cured by cleaning connections on ribbon cable. Or if you have a S.A.M. unit, you can try and reprogramme the eprom. Both of these things can cure this. If you have to order anything, order timer. The control module is just a flash switch. cheers Robwash

Re: Whirlpool AKZ146/IX (858514615020) oven not starting

HI, yes thats right. When you 1st turn the power on to these ovens…its says stop. then you press the button 2 or 3 times until the triangle is flashing in the bottom right hand corner. you then set the time with the right hand push dial/temp selector. once you’ve set the time you then press the button…clock set… when you start the oven you don’t touch the button…thats why it can only be the power board. when you select fan oven, it will start at 160c and you use the right hand dial to adjust temp. hope this helps.. Hi, Yes I know he said that, but I have to say that when I came across this, it was a recall from another engineer who had fitted a new motor. It sounds like the same thing to me. cheers Rob
