    Re: Bosch D/W E15?

Hi. Not read Nomad Paul’s reason for leak yet, but i had one recently where the customer had a Granite worktop and the water leaked between the wall and the worktop, and carried on down the back of the dishwasher and into the sump. I was lucky to see it before dismantling. Thought I would mention it in case you were unlucky enough to have the same thing.

Went to a large door Hotpoint this week, just had to give soap drawer a good clean. ,wanted to run a cleaning sachet through for customer, but couldn’t get it to take water in normal compartment. Had to run the self clean to get it to take water in correct right hand compartment (curved drawer). This machine was also not running pump very often with no clothes in. No other problems reported since. Just Thought it might be relevant here.

Thank you very much. Very informative. Customer deciding what to do at the moment. At least I can go armed with a bit more knowledge now. That’s great. Roger.

    Re: GPRS portable card machines

I have a similar deal with Elavon mobile merchant services. The machine I use links to your blackberry, android or iPhone. A different machine is required for the iPhone. You can buy the machine for around £150 and then you don’t have to pay for rental, which is better long term if people start paying you more in cash. Again it is 2.95{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} for both credit and debit cards, I bank with Santander and the money goes in to your account the next day. This machine is also Visa approved, a lot aren’t, so tread carefully. There are a lot of people out there after this business at the moment. I find it ok on smaller bills. Remember you need to be adding £1.50 per £50 to cover your costs. Hope that helps.

Well I’m sure we are all open to learn new things, and can do a little research ourselves, but with life running at the pace it does a pointer in the right direction wouldn’t go a miss?

If you are getting an F3 fault, which is poor drain, this error also throws up when the heater is going down to earth on Hoover/ Candy. Put on a quick wash, let the heater come on for a while, disconnect leads and check insulation resistance.

Yes ive purchased one for the same reason. Its one you can use with a freehand drill. No doubt there are others. It was over £100 but worth it. Mine is made by Veritas in Canada. See http://www.veritastools.com
I was also looking into buying a length of 35mm dowel from B&Q for filling in the original holes when one overlaps the other. A long length is about £12 to £13 or so.
Definitely worth doing. Currys charge £90 to fit Integrated washing machine.

Update on this one.Went back today to do a few more checks.I asked the customer to run this through a wash cycle before I returned today, which she said it completed fine.
When I walked in today I put it on a dry cycle, worked fine. Put a few wet tea towels in it,ran it for 45 minutes worked fine, checking the solenoid valve through the process.
So was this an airlock after removing the sump hose, eco-ball? Faulty pressure switch? Dont know if this is a frequency device like some of the zanussi’s. Will let you know if it fails again, fingers crossed. 😀
