I only Meggered the heater directly, not the whole of the machine, as it’s hard wired and built in. Customer had another appointment. We’ll now I know a bit more I will investigate further. Thanks Martin.

Thanks Martin. Sorry about the “L”. Told the customer I’d get back to them. Are we talking earth leakage when you say motor problem? Haven’t had the brushes out, it is 7 years old though.

Sorry the 1120, 1140 are model numbers listed in the fault code guide and their associated faults. As the 1120 and 1140 are of the new generation (chinese), didnt know if they shared the codes. Still dont know how to access codes on the new machines. E-mail roger-sly@btconnect.com 😀

I use the Elavon machine that links to a smart phone, their charge is 2.95{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} on credit and debit cards. It is a professional looking machine. I have recently contacted my bank representative to see if they would consider charging a flat fee of, for example 70p for a debit card transaction, as opposed to the normal, I think 30p for people using a rented stand alone machine, to help with the larger transactions,i.e, a machine sale.

Yes I think the first manufacturer who is brave enough to make their appliances more serviceable, and reliable will keep their customers. Unless Bosch deal with these issues quickly, it will only fuel the ” whats the point in paying more, theyre just as bad attitude”. With social media these days those chats at what used to be the school gates, can cover a very large area, and very rapidly.

I also had an Int E24 on one of these, turned out to be fine thread of string wrapped round spindle of pump, could hardly see it. The customer was a dentist and she had these fine barbed, flexible files for root canal work! Did the trick. Hope this post works this is the third time i’ve tried this?

Customer had Bosch out to this appliance, but she didn’t give too much information. One or two seals changed, possibly lower door seal, and the engineer said the float switch was causing the tripping.
If anyone has any recent service info on these especially relating to E15 would appreciate it. Thanks.
