Update. Got the customer last night to leave the machine on a programme. He said it did hardly anything for around 20 mins then started filling. He has now done 3 washes no problem. So something learned just need to wait a little longer.

Hope you’ve got the reset procedure. I know a lot have to complete several times for it to work. My customers machine was working ok before blockage so I suppose a few more attempts is in order.

Having watched a few of these models they often don’t put the fault code up until the end of the cycle, certainly on the quick wash cycle which should be E09.

    Re: BT compensation claim

Thank you very much for your advice. I will get a list of complaint numbers and names ready to argue my case. It looks as though they have cured the problem at the moment, but openreach cant tell BT if they have actually repaired the fault or not, it is crazy. So much for the ombudsman by the sounds of it. When I get more information I will post back to you in case it helps with your case. I’m sure there will be others too.

Re: Miele W864 Nr 00/49952175 brushes

All up and running. You were right I had to use old rubber holders. The brass tabs are not as large on the pattern brushes, I was little bit concerned I could slide the holder in the rubber insert, with quite a bit of pressure I must admit. Genuine would be better but she wouldn’t go for price even with me doing it cheap. The brushes would have been a waste of time without the old inserts, but at least the angle on the brush is correct and it runs sweet even from first go. With your help and a look on u-tube so I knew what it all looked like I’ve got a happy neighbour! Always a good thing! Cheers.

Bosch have had problems with WAQ Range. Tell customer to contact Bosch, they are offering a 70{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} discount on repair. You could push for more I suppose. Problem now cured apparently.

    Re: Bosch WAE24366GB/23

You may have to check but I think this is normal. I have a Bosch and if I choose a long 60 degree cotton wash without speed perfect selected it shortens the wash if not a full/heavy load, after about 30 mins. I think they calculate the load via motor torque like so many others these days. Either that or mine also has a fuzzy logic fault.
