    Re: Leisure hja6100 beko??

No fault codes or test program on this model.

The most likely fault is the Fan Motor in the Freezer needs Replacing.

Very little else goes wrong on this model except the PCB and then the appliance does not run at all.

And yes it is a Beko

Yes you will need a new panel. The panels have been modified but only last about 3 to 4 years.

Also make sure the defrost sensor is on the left hand side On the pipe leading to the evaporator.

Re: A return of the BAD old days

I have had no problems with Connect pattern elements.

Sometimes elements can absorb moisture but work fine if you dry them out.

I had one recently that needed Drying out but was OK after.

With all the wet weather they can get damp stored on the van.

The sensor should have a resistance depending on temperature.

    Freezer evaporator sensor.

If you are not sure then replace it.

You also need to check the heater is ok and the fan is working.

You also need to check the thermal fuse has not blown again if the sensor is faulty.

    Re: Damaged Dishwasher

If D & G have said they can repair it for her I would refer her back to D & G.

Just tell her it would take you up to 31 days to obtain the part as it is on Back order.

Ask her to contact D & G again as this would be her quickest option for a repair.

If she refuses tell her you will contact her when the parts are back in stock but this could take up to 31 Days or you can offer to refund your call out if she goes the D & G route.

Hopefully she will take the D & G route

You also need to check the lid seal is sealing ok if it is soft white frost.

If it has a lot of frost then it may pay to turn it off and defrost it.

Yes leave it on E it may take 24 to 48 hours for the refrigerant to cool.

If it is still running after 48 hours and it only has frost near the top then you have a compressor fault or it is low on Gas.

E is for Economy N is for Normal.

It is best set on N for Normal.

If it is set on economy and is -40 then you need to have the stat or refrigerant checked.

If it is low on refrigerant then it will not get cold enough near the stat to turn the stat off.

It may also mean the compressor is now not pumping correctly after running for so long.

I have a Transit Sport with low profile high load Tyres.

I find Kuhmo Tyres last twice as long and are cheaper.

Michelin have softer walls and I had one burst when I hit a pothole.

Continentals are my next choice and lasted longer than Pirelli.

Re: Split freezer door seal on Hotpoint FF187MP

Just pull the door seal near the corner to see if it will come off as in the video.

If it does then push it back on until you get a new seal.

Re: Split freezer door seal on Hotpoint FF187MP

If it is the push on type then it is just as the video shows.

It is not as easy as it looks as you have to make sure it is pushed in fully or it will keep pulling off when you open and close the door.

What it does not show is the seal will be crushed flat in the packaging and will not seal correctly.

To get it to seal you have to warm the seal up to make it more flexible to seal otherwise the freezer will frost up with Snow / ice.

The best way to warm it is when it is fitted warm it all around with a wallpaper steamer.

If a steamer is not available then a hair dryer will do but make sure you keep it moving around the seal so you do not melt he seal.

In the Video the seal would not seal as it is thinner due to being crushed flat and would have to be warmed up.

Check your model has the push in type as some seals are part of the door and require a new door.

    Re: Sansung RL37LGSW F/Freezer

Have you been back to check yet.

The 1120 is the newer type sensor.

You need to check the Thermal fuse in the freezer as well as it could be a thermal fuse.

The thermal fuse normally has a Red and Black wire to it and you need to test it is not open circuit.
