There’s an element available for them that’s recommended to be used in hard water areas if they go continuously, has a more shiny coating, also some have steam option which has different element than the normal.

Check first for blockage in impeller of circulation pump motor, if there’s a blockage then wash pump doesn’t get enough pressure to activate said pressure switch, hence no heat!

Heater relay has a circuit diagram on the side showing the switch and coil configuration.
Pressure switch is just change over switch when air pressure ( a lot )i s applied to tube.

    Re: DC MODULE OF DOOM

Motors on the DC range blow on ramping up if there is a heavy load in drum, if the motor draws high current the DC blows a track in p.c.b, , like yourself sometimes we get away with putting in a DC module, other times its a motor, have also had to fit main board as well as DC module, motor.

Brushless ones are similar, sometimes its motor, sometimes inductor, sometimes main board, or a selection of the above..

Try holding in start button for 5 seconds, this may reset it, otherwise contact an engineer to look at it

Would advise to get the same engineer back who did the repair for you, explain to him that there is still a fault with it.

If you bought product in December 2015, isn’t it under warranty?

Get them out to look at it.

Most likely fine wires broken in loom, as Lawrence said previously, wires to Thermistor or Flowmeter likely are broken. Appliance should count 4 litres of water before powering up wash pump, if it doesn’t get signal from flowmeter then it goes to finish program’, emptys.

Beko DFN05X10W (white from £189) Beko DFN05X10S (silver from £199)
Beko DFN28R21W (white from £259) Beko DFN28R31X (stainless steel from £329)

I would always suggest Beko as a great product for the price, the first 2 listed are knob controlled, second 2 are push button with display.
Best of luck getting 12 years out of any product nowadays, my Hotpoint dishwasher is only 20 years old, i’m thinking of putting in a new Beko in its place purely because the other one looks old, works ok still though.

    Re: Zanussi ZWF14070W1

One problem with these is the pressure vessel getting bunged up, best to blow down the hose to dislodge any sludge in pressure vessel connected to tub.
Have found that the cable connections to plug of pressure sensor sometimes make poor connection, you can use a multimeter to check the loom from one end of cable to the other. If you get a high reading on one wire thats normally the problem, slight pinch of the plug connection with pliers (gently though) may cure the fault.
