Low resistance on dryer heating element causes the p.c.b to go blank on these sometimes, disconnect cables off element & tape up safely and securely, test to see if it powers up ok with dryer elements out of circuit.

Yeah, looks very much like impact damage to point where piece is missing.

No filter for customer to access, they say this machine has a “self cleaning” pump.

The appliance that you describe doesn’t have a fan as far as i can see ❗
So i’d imagine the compressor has failed, most likely not worth repairing.

Most likely a problem with a component has blown p.c.b, which means you have to test components of appliance to get problem.
If you don’t feel competant, get an engineer to do it as it could prove costly throwing parts at it.

Don’t know what you mean by selector switch, this has a p.c.b with knob just pushes directly onto a pot on the board, not ever seen selector pot available on its own.

Anyway part number for board is 2431702211 depends on ser’ num’ most likely.

Tip appliance up, look underneath to rear, there’s a short 3-4 inch long ribbed grey pipe, take it off & clear it out, it normally blocks with fluff, which can cause problems with water drainage to tank.
Other problems with this model is heater going low to earth, if this is so, heater element needs changed.

Take belt off & look for motor judder, see if its actually drum causing noise or motor,
may be faulty motor, check mounts, tensioner etc
