Re: Bosch WAS2460 LogiXX F57 error

Cheers Paul, any tests that I should do to check it? Should the motor be hard to turn or should it turn freely?

Check the tube to pressure switch, if loaded with gunge it might not be resetting when emptying, other than that warped float causing pump to run as if base was flooded. This is common complaint of them running continuously.

The Air Chamber cover comes off, its got 2 clips holding it in place. Can’t you blow down pressure tube & release blockage ?

Re: I really must not take advantage of customers…

Think the Beko one runs at 900W total load of which 200W is the motor. Takes about 4 amps when running from memory, I had a clamp meter on one while testing it, out of habit its something I do with all dryers to show if they are heating on full heat 1/2 heat etc.
They are supposed to be 60{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} more efficient than a condenser according to Miele. They run at a considerably lower temp than conventional dryers and the clothing is supposed to last longer & feel better to the wearer.
Heat Pump dryers use a closed circuit system so its recommended that the door is not opened until cycle completes, another thing that is its difficult for the consumer to grasp.
There will be pressure from the treehuggers on manufacturers to move away from element type dryers to save our planet, but its not going to be easy to get the consumer to buy something that will actually take longer to dry a load even if it is going to save money in the long run.
Not the easiest to repair as everything has to come out to get at heat pump and sensors, fan, motor etc, i’ve swapped over a complete heat pump unit on a warranty one but don’t see this as being a repair that a customer could afford.

There are fault codes for these machines, I think fault code F11 and F13 are the ones that your machine may have in its memory, F11 refers to hall sensor fault, F13 normally is communication to motor, either of these fault codes may be present with a no motor action problem .

Take your pick of NTC, heater, fan blocked, sensor bars shorted with fluff/dust. Check out those for starters.

    Re: Beko- No spin

You can replace the pins at the time you replace the shocks, its likely its an unbalanced load though. Does it go to full spin speed when empty?

Should’nt be over smoky, there will be a smoke of all elements when first put on. You did take out the packaging that was on grill tray?

Went out to a lady with same issue of smell of plastic burning, found that she hadn’t removed the plastic envelope with instruction books etc & it cooked in the oven.

Pressure sensor, try disconnecting hose off it, it may not be registering that its empty.

    Re: Beko wmb 91442 lw

Infamous Askoll motor, it uses a hall sensor for speed feedback instead of normal tacho. Diode mounted inside back wall down to left gives problems & sometimes needs changed if problem is no motor action.

If its sticking on 20 mins i’d check coil of inlet valve, it may not be taking in water for rinse, just a thought.
Continuous pumping would make you think it has’nt registered empty, check pressure vessel, pressure hose hasn’t come off the pressure sensor, etc.
Check drain hose is’nt too far down drain pipe causing syphoning.
