Compressors on most refrigeration appliances are susceptible to power surges.

Sensor brushes worn perhaps, like most sensor dryers it will switch off heating after a few minutes if no damp clothing is sensed.

Do as it says, there are two wires to solenoid & 2 to a level switch on the rinse aid as far as I can remember, the cable connections that come with it help you to re-wire if new dispenser is different than the original, if its the same its a straight swap, simples.

Motor replaced? Do you mean the drive motor or the pump motor?

    Re: Lamona HJA 8630 Dishwasher

Pump could be faulty i’ve had to change a few for this problem, assuming you have checked the filters it is more likely though to be a blockage in the drain hose or the pipework its going into.
If you put drain hose into basin/bucket etc, run it that way & see if it drains correctly.

By removing the motor first, thats assuming the model has’nt got a welded type tub fitted which would make it not economical.

    Re: Zanussi fl1555w bearing oil?

If there are oil like stains on clothing it could be caused by the conditioner going in too early, when activated by warm water it woud give an oil like stain to clothing. It should only go in at end of wash during the rinse cycle & be activated by cold water ony.

Re: Zanussi ZDC 5355W condenser (sensor) dryer not heating

There are 2 thermostats mounted on heater, one with red dot is normally a one shot device (non resetting), other one would cycle on & off at about 90c approx. Theres also an NTC (thermister) mounted in the hot air duct which controls heating via the p.c.b, N.T.C should read approx’ 6Kohm at 20c.
The drum as you can see is divided into 2 sections which are electrically separated, (insulated by a plastic divider) this via the brushes sends imformation as to how dry the clothes are in the drum.
Obviously if you were to test with no damp clothes in drum on sensor dry setting it will cut out after a short while.

I would suppose that the screws securing it in place would provide an earth anyhow. You could rewire/connect the earth cable to one of the mounting screws.
Best to contact whoever supplied the part to you as to why it has no earth, genuine part should have an earth connection i’d expect.

    Re: Zanussi DE6744s dishwasher fault

As with all dishwashers i’d check that door is locking, drain pump should come on first, so check it, look for leakage to base which is a common fault on all dishwashers too.

Check the obvious, that condenser is locked in tightly, that water is not over full, drain pump seized etc.
