You sure the supply is good to the appliance, i’d be checking the circuit from cable to suppressor, to on/off switch, to P.C.B etc, paying attention to cable loom as it passes through bottom of door, they are prone to breaking here.

Common problem, the interlock needs replaced, if you don’t feel competant get an Engineer to change it, it should’nt be too expensive of a repair.

Done quite a few, 4 hour + for bearing job. What you’ve encountered is the “valve packing geared motor unit”. It is part of the anti-leak feature, but has been known to stick if anything fouls the plunger from opening or closing. You could ty-rap in in open all the time & disconnect the plastic arm from motor, then it will operate as a normal sump hose would.
Just in case you ever have to change a door seal its called a “wringer frame packing”.

I’d change the p.c.b, part num’ is 2826330551, theres a pressure sensor in it probably rather than a pressure switch & you won’t hear it click.

Re: Elux fridges with VEM compressor

Its a speed controlled type compressor, on the American style SxS units where a condenser fan failed the compressor would overheat & a temp’ fuse on the P.C.B went open circuit causing symptoms you describe, may be an idea to check p.c.b to see if you can repair this t.o.c.

Re: AEG Lavamat L16830 tacho problem

It depends on which type of motor is fitted, if its Ceset expect a reading of 60-70 ohms, FHP motor 120-150 ohms, Sole could be 450-550 ohms. Check cable in plug & connections to P.C.B, mostly these faults are generated by poor cable connections, sometimes by carbon dust shorting motor wiring to earth (frame).
Suspect you have a FHP motor from reading you got.

You sure that is the model, its not listed.
    HDA 8630, 8632, 8640
    HJA 8631, 8650 .. take your pick.

Possibly the parts you require are
    Motor 1740701900
    Lock 1750900400

    but check model first

Once the 4 screws securing it to the tub are removed, give it a tap backways, it should release. Carefull it doesn’t drop on tiled floor though.

    Re: Miele w1514 drain fault

F10 Water Intake Fault. F11 Water Drainage Fault. F20 Heating Fault. F51 Level Switch Fault. All faults listed are related to points mentioned earlier. Pressure switch detects level of water, when gunged up it won’t detect water coming in or water draining out so throws up errors. It also can sometimes switch on heater when it thinks water is in tub, element burns out as a result.
Take off kickplate cover, screw are there to hold on front panel, some Mieles have a 10mm nut under door opening needs removed also, push front slightly down & it should then come outwards. POWER OFF before attempting any repairs.
