    Re: Local Authority Work

I run a karate club and hire a school hall for the venue. You would not believe the forms ,checks & charters we have to submit to satisfy the city council. There all doing now – threat of litigation i suppose!

Use to be one form, now reams & reams of them – looking on the bright side though keeps out the rif-raf! We get our crb checks done through the karate Association about £10.00.

YEP! Know the hose in question now – gets silted up then slows flow into machine. Bit of a brain seizure there – ok now.

I think my signature is very accurate at times 😆

    Thanks again Gegsy :rolls:

Hi Gegsy, Thanks for your reply. Where on the machine is the ribbed hose & which is the best way to get to it? Is it that the hose gets blocked that causes the problem?

Not the neon bulb then? If not then there’s always EMW!

No I dont think so! Dont know what controls the inlet (module perhaps!) – but it does have an aquastop attached and a safety float inside.

If model no:- c1992wh & the belt size is EL 1197J5 then its in stock at masterpart £7.99 + vat.

I have come across a couple of these machines with module at the front – both were pcb faults, sent them to emw. I think there are fault codes available on these machines put wouldn’t put much store by them 🙁

Never used connect but I can give you some examples of the prices of common parts at Qualtex then you can decide for yourself:

    Part No / description / Price (+vat)

    3570114102 fan motor oven £18.40
1603409 wma drum rear half £30.90
    481236158334 motor spray pump £60.12
    264877 bosch d/w control board £67.65
    1611166 hotpoint spider unit £11.75 (unt10 £9.27)
    dan01 fridge thermostat £4.80
    c00035521 indesco carbons&holders £4.30

Should be enough to give you some idea – Hope it helps!

    Brian.

p.s Would be interesting to know how connect or any other company compares – these parts people use the old Roman adage of “Divide & Rule” 😈

Perhaps we should start a “grumpy old men” (in a young looking way of course!) forum?

TBH, I usually have Masterpart & Spareslink open at the same time when compiling an order, I would say that Masterpart beat Qualtex around 60{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the time, even though it is only a few coppers sometimes.

That’s wierd because I do exactly the same thing, yet I find roughly the same ratio in Qualtex favour 😕
Makes ya wonder if we’re all buying at the same price dunnit?

I think you need to get the Qualtex rep in – Jim
He setup the system on my computer, I buy 90{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of my parts from them, they are usually the cheapest when i compare prices.
