That’s curious, as on my Qualtex ‘Spareslink’ system it comes out at being NIL STOCK and £158 (plus Vodka And Tonic) 😯

Yep! just checked order availability on this motor – definately in stock at that price. Do you retrieve regular updates Martin?

Perhaps you need to update your phone and get caller display. I find this invaluable when customers forget to leave their phone number or indeed just forget it altogether.

    Re: Awkward Situation

I had a job where i replaced the carbon brushes on a motor, one month later the armature burnt out. The customer rang back saying it was the same fault as before “to do with the motor” when I explained the difference, he wasn’t interested just wanted me to sort it out for nothing.
I was polite, professional but firm. I explained that the motor belong to “HIM” and if he wanted me to repair “HIS” motor I was quite willing to do so at a cost of X number of pounds. Once he realised I meant what I said he rang off and i never heard another word from him.

The point being – you must be polite but firm pointing out it’s his problem not yours & if he require your services it will cost him. Keep repeating the message over and over until he gets its – because 99{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the time their just trying it on.

If you have not already done so? I would advise investing in a TDS disc from electrolux – loads of makes and models on the disc including how to configure electrolux modules 😀

    Excellent investment @ £20+ :rolls:

Thermal fuse on motor tripping in and out – toc’s open circuit because cooling fan (on the end of motor) has stopped turning?

    Just a thought ❗

Worth while checking the board too for a dry joint at the heater connection, often just needs re-soldering!

Hi Richard, I am not familiar with that particular model. But usually on Bosch & Neff m/c the motor is mounted on the right hand side of the machine (looking from the front) & in the past I’ve accessed the motor by removing the right side panel, which usually is very easy to remove held on with a couple of screws; course it does mean easing the machine forward in order to get to it.

    Hope this helps,

Usually there’s a screwdriver slot cut into the rotar at the back of the motor (not every model though!) Simply turn with screwdriver blade, if it wont turn it’s either siezed or there is something obstructing the impellor.

Saves having to get inside the pump to check 😀

I think the TDS disc from Electrolux covers ATAG models.
