ParticipantRe: Hotpoint Washer Dryer WD64
Diagnosis wth a man with a meter is probably going to be the best option. There is the fault but there may be an underlying cause. Check out Repairs@ on LHS of page.

Does the fridge run all the time without ever switching off? Are there any lights on on the front panel?

ParticipantRe: ariston AIB 16
Have you tried turning off the hot and cold inlet taps to see if the fault disappears? Is it connected to a drain spigot under the sink U bend?

ParticipantRe: Bosch SPS51225/07 over filling
Sussed it. The 14 year old inlet valve on the back of the IWMS was not holding the fill water in the tank ready for the next cycle and the air duct compartment was not staying full with water to keep the pressure switch contacts engaged. Thought it was a high level fill being an old machine!
Question: Why is the original wash pump/heater/drain pump still working after being built in 1991?
😀 😀 😀 😀

That is only model number on label. Looks like i will take the risk on the WH version. Have tried to identify it on picture but it is not clear. Oh well fingers crossed 🙄

Blew through hose on aquastop was clear. fault still present.
1. So should this appliance fill once only and then disregard the pressure switch as the timer moves on? The water slowly drains into the cabinet after filling. It seems to fill again one timer click just before the drain for the prewash kicks in. (knackered timer?)
2. Is the aquastop diaphraghm valve used to prevent the machine filling again once it has filled?
3. Have i mixed up the tubes on the panel? if looking from the front at the bottom there are 3 tubes connected. At the very front the top one goes to the base polystyrene float. The one below it goes to the aquastop valve and just behind it is the tube with the plug in the end to drain the panel. Water level drops in the resin section when the plug is pulled out. 😳Thanks Simon.

ParticipantRe: Problem with OCEAN FCS 0990A Chest Freezer
The more details the better. Sounds promising like the thermostat has failed as the system still works with the Superfreeze option engaged (Stat bypassed).
Our shop man should give you an answer tomorrow for the part you require. Please do not work on freezer with it plugged in :zap: .Regards

Failed wash pump is common on these appliances. Should still fill though.
