ParticipantRe: Ariston LSI 61 Reset Procedure?
The circulation pump motor may have been soaked with water. Does your house electrics have an RCD (trip switch)?. Unplug first for safety :zap: . You may require an engineer to check out the cause of the fault. Try Repairs@ on the LHS of page.

So can you see a puddle of water in filter area of dishwasher. Do you hear a whoosing sound after it has filled as the pump is driving the water through the spray arms?

ParticipantRe: Electrolux Fridge ONLY 2 YEARS OLD
Most likely the second click is the overload on the side of the compressor removing power as it is failing to start. I would suspect compressor on this one.

ParticipantRe: Van Insurance
I am with Swinton another horrendous quote this year. Got a quote off someone else, back to swinton and guess what. over £100 reduction for threatening to go somewhere else. and they covered me for something the other company did not 😀 Worth a try

ParticipantRe: Need a spare part for that
Would a list of unused spares bought in error/ customer cancelled repair posted somewhere at discount prices so you at least get your money back, by someone else buying it, work? A search option of part number would probably be required ❓
Just an idea

Thanks for that Dave. The customer would have to get the door from belling direct then. I take it that this will probably render the appliance beyond economical repair (4 yrs old and also stat capillary starting to leave rust stains on back wall as well)
Many thanks

ParticipantRe: vauxhall astra van or estate 1.7 td year 2000
Was that the vauxhall or the Isuzu engine? I drive a 96 corsa van with Isuzu engine with 300K on clock(looked after). GearBox died, went to scrappy 55 quid for another.
