Re: Stoves DF600 SI Grill – top oven fault.

Can you remember if you fitted a selector switch in front of this and did it work. Invensys switch is now obsolete and requires fitting both ovens selector switches with two new thermostats and wiring conversion. Expensive.

Re: Smeg DRY72BK front drum seal fitting

Well fitted customer bought seal as I thought it would fit on front. Oiled it with lubricating oil as per badly photostatted Italian instructions. Sounds good on rotation but now No heat. Back panel removed found tripped resettable toc. Reset toc tested with no load all good I thought. Cust now rings up dryer says water tank full light is on after 3 minutes But no water in tank. Lift pump isnt operating maybe. dryer has been tipped on its back so maybe microswitch has got wet. This has had 3 1/2 hours labour on it.

Re: Smeg DRY72BK front drum seal fitting

What im trying to say is the rubber part ends up on the inside closest to rotating drum. Is this correct? Or does the seal need to be flipped over somehow so the felt is on the drum side?

    Re: Diplomat ADP8322 heater?

Well done. If the wiring harness protector is cracked it may need replacing or you can take it out and with a Stanley knife cut a piece out of the sides at the top part so it matches the shape of the bottom and then turn it round top to bottom. The two torx screws above the bottom panel will need undoing to retrieve the lower bit after removing bottom panel.

    Re: Bosch f/freezer

Yes but the sensor is sensing defrost temp so can start cooling again. Faulty defrost sensor means it never starts running. short it it goes on timed defrost.

    Re: Bosch f/freezer

Right fridge evap sensor has got moisture in it. One butt crimp connector to short out evap sensor will make fridge freezer run perfectly. Search model no on ukw.
