Rear drum shaft cut down the rear panel? so drum is lower at back? Unplug power if going in. A shaft kit is available.

Had an inlet valve where the centre stalk had unscrewed. Tightened up with longnose pliers. all ok.

Thanks Steve. Tried to get it out from under facia by depressing tang but it snapped. Switch will still not come out. i would expect it slides towards the tang for removal but appears it is stuck fast.

Mums Machine only fills from the steam vent at the LHS. Is this a blocked transfer tube?

The interior light (heater)should come on dimly to aid defrost. Possible you will need a mod fitting to bypass a failed sensor. Unplug Power if you are going to have a look yourself.

Check connections from the other end of the wires with a meter to the heater/ thermistor therefore proving wiring connections ok. Power off when doing so.
