Sounds like a flooded base. Unplug appliance, tilt backward onto towels and see if water runs out. If fault comes back there is a leak. Dont use 3 in one tablets.

Repairs@ for an engineer if needed. Power off if you are going to look yourself.

Re: Zanussi Aquacycle 1200 – we have no hot water supply

As long as there is water supply to the hot inlet valve the machine will take care of it. Other wise a Y piece so that both hoses are connected to the cold water will be required. (see link below)

Clean or dirty water? try turning off the inlet valves on house plumbing. or backfilling from sink waste. raise hose to come down to spigot on sink trap.

That hose will have to be sorted. The pressure it has inside it is immense. Worm drive clips is the answer. Is the appliance filling with water?

    Re: Bosch 1600 Express LogiXX – WFR3267GB

Module had failed on my own wfr2860. Came with a spin fault that it would go to maximum speed straight away on spin. Power supply failed on board (flashed Bereit). Was an expensive repair but i checked everything else first to prove all was ok. Power off if you are going to have a look yourself.

If they are crutch handle taps yes. If they are the blue and red plastic 90 degree turn handle ones then the tops can spin on the valve and not open. If selfbore (clamped onto pipe) can scale up and block flow.

Has the cold hose got the tap turned on on the house plumbing? Humming might be cold valve asking for water but no supply.

It will probably damage the sealing faces of the filter. Would possibly then require new pump and filter assy.

I would recommend an engineer with the relevant diagnostic equipment. Have a look at Repairs@ for one.
