Re: hotpoint WD 63S tripping rcd after cycle

as far as i can tell a minute or so after the light goes out , it happens every time and it trips once, when you reset the rcd it stays on ok even when the machine is powered on , until the next end of program that is ho ho ho . i didnt buy a megger cause i was under the assumption they were mega expensive get it MEGA … anyway i just seen one on rs.com for 25 euro !! could this be true a proper megohmeter ?

Re: hotpoint WD 63S tripping rcd after cycle

i’m just trying to get my head around the fact the machine is finished the program stopped for like ages 3 or 4 mins and then it trips ???? . i dont have a megger , so all i can do are continuity tests and a 10 a load test will this be sufficient , also is it possible that the carbon dust is causing this ? thanks Dave

Re: miele t494c not collecting water and burning clothes

there’s a small connector panel where the main power supply enters its 70mm x 40 mm on the back (looking from the back ) bottom left h/s of the machine nothing else there seamy looks like access could be gained by removing the motor support bar running at the bottom of the m/c lots of stripping to be done though , i cant see another way except taking the whole m/c apart ie ; , drum out thanks

hi alf , i checked the control board today , 3 connector blocks on it 2 on one end one on the other next to the stat , the wires next to the stat are blue and red two core white and when tested with a meter i’m getting 14.6k ohms surely this means sensor is working ok ? the other wires are brown and blue 2 core and brown, blue and black 3 core .

Re: bosch sgs46E02GB/75 not pumping out water

cheers martin will do, also the drain hose is fed directly into the sink p- trap which is below the level of the actual waste pipework after the p-trap , if you get me their is a good bit of water to push out into the waste pipe before gravity takes over could the pump be under pressure trying to evacuate too much water ?
