if you look carefully at the sides of the filter there are 2 raised spines on 1 side and 1 on the other, they locate into grooves in the housing, if they are blocked with limescale it will be difficult to fit and it will only go in 1 way.

as you pulled it out all the fluff and limescale and wotever else that has built up against it has fallen behind it as you pulled it out, its either that or you need to turn it 180 degrees and then try.

steer clear while you still can, needs a modification which includes module,drain heater kit,plate and a fan motor if its noisy.

heater sits on the front of the circ pump, if its a module you will need a smartcard for it aswell

it is a comet own brand give them a ring and quote this part number (HOMA20011759) and they will be able to get it for you.

looks like model number is AHY3300 in which case the part number is (ODASSY32)

😆 dont mind if i do, as penguin said vegasking access to pump is behind the metal plate at front of machine on the left and is a twist fit.

just in case you have already removed the small pump inspection cover inside, it will not pump water with it removed 😉
