ParticipantRe: All makes repaired ?
Fair Enough Dave.
I think its a personal choice with me, as I like to keep within my comfort zone.
Been doin’ most makes for a long time & they all seem to have there own “common Fault”.
Its the newer brands that I feel I have to learn again. (even switching the thing on! )
Dont Know whether I can be arsed at my age , as I keep busy doing the makes I’m really familiar with & never have to “walk away”.

ParticipantRe: Neff S41M63N0GB/43 Error E01
Ok thanks, These new Neffs are a real pain with intermittant leaks & now relays. Not gonna recommend Neff anymore.
Connect say the module is not programmed, does that mean its a NEFF job ?
Thanks.smeghead

ParticipantRe: New Work Light
Some people pay extra for machines with glowing lights, she should have been well pleased with the modification.
My customers never ring me back , may be I’ve got B.O !!!!smeghead
ParticipantRe: New Work Light
yep, these are great Martin, have had 4/5 in a couple of years.
trouble is, I keep leaving them inside people’s machines, because of the magnet allowing you to stick it to the sides of the machine, to locate leaks etc.
great cheap torch though!

ParticipantRe: Heard it all now!!
We obviously don’t have a life , Do we?
The plonker still keeps leaving me voicemail messages after 7.00 pm .
I ring him back nest day in working hours and leave him a voicemail & so it goes on…..
You’d think he would ring someone else, I wish he would!

ParticipantRe: oven removing table
Have used dual stage B & D workmates since year dot, but Lee’s suggestion looks great, but quite costly. I make it over £400 with the table!
wolfcraft 6182 for about £80 looks good from Amazon, not sure of quality though.
Think I’ll stick with the Workmate for now, only got about 5 years to go , so not worth that large investment – good idea for the youngsters though.

connect rep? what do they look like have not seen one of them for years.me too, 90{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of orders now go to Qualtex, get a call from rep every 6 months or so, never met him yet as I’m out working but the missus has a chat with him.
Had a answerphone message from masterpart the other day, wanting a chat, rung ’em back twice- no one answered!!
still occasionally use euro part , but they don’t hold much genuine stuff in stock., as for connect never seen or heard from them in years, just an email to say “my new reps details are as follows.”
Thank the Lord for Qualtex. 🙂

ParticipantRe: Hotpoint dryer belt fitting tool
A1engineer wrote:i do this a different way and find it really easy and quick, take the front fan off and remove the pulley bolt nearest you, loosen the other pulley bolt and disengage the hook of the pulley from the motor, push the wheel all the way round away from you using the bolt left in place as a pivot, then put belt in place and pull wheel back towards you once its lined up with motor you can hook it back in place an refit the 2nd bolt, tighten both and jobs done, i can fit these belts with this method in less than 10 minutes 🙂
Yes tried this way today , piece of cake.
Its funny how you think – “why didn’t i think of that” , when it looks so bleedin’ obvious.
Cheers A1. 😀Clive.

ParticipantRe: NEFF S51M53XOGB/16 Totally dead
had one of these a few months ago, did same fault finding as yourself, once you rule all the obvious out , only leaves the board dunnit? The only problem is did another component cause the board to go ?
Anyway after quote she bought new m/c , so now I’ll never know. Bu***r.
