ParticipantYes, thats exactly it. Reverts to default. I will try a new selector switch.
How do you access the test programme, does it come up after switching off then on ?? and whats a test finger ??November 14, 2025 at 3:04 pm in reply to: Neff oven B5ACH7AHOB/72 operating module, variant code #494116snig
ParticipantDoesnt overheat. After a couple of minutes temp. will alter itself, normally down.
Pretty sure i would of checked elements but can’t actually remember. I may go back and check again when hot !!snig
ParticipantI realise this is an old thread but have a similar problem on a Neff oven. Did you find the cause. Customer had bought a new thermister which i fitted for her but still intermittantly resets to 160 deg.

Participantforgot to mention, weirdly did heat for a couple of minutes on one test wash. hasent done it since
snig
ParticipantI havent checked that. Sounds like a good wash action but will check properly on next visit.
My thinking now is possibly reconnected the wires to the diverter wrong ( they are all white so easily done ), as if no signal from microswitch then no heat ??? Hoping if thats the case i havent damaged the module. Luckily customer is being very good about itFebruary 26, 2025 at 5:14 pm in reply to: zanussi z816wt85bi washer dryer jumps to 11mins on dry cycle no heat #491563snig

ParticipantThanks for that. Seems very similar too older machine diagnostics. I’ll call back and check last fault codes
snig
ParticipantUnfortunatley the door ntc circuit tests out ok. Guessing it must be pcb ????
snig
ParticipantThats excellant thanks. At least i have somewhere to start looking
snig
ParticipantYeah, that looks like the bit. Talk about overly complicating things. This ones the same part number but ends with D instead of B

Participantwhat was the diagnosis, i appear to have a similar case
snig
Participantgetting a reading of about 45K when testing from the module so assuming thats ok, guess i must be looking at a module fault ??
snig
Participantyes, any info is always useful, Thanks
i had thought pcb but as you say its a bit of a punt, had also thought i should double check earth leakage on heater when hot. Not sure if that might cause issues ?? -
