    Re: Repairs@ Module

think it’s a Lancs thing Goaty

It’s the same down here in Norfolk have had no jobs from repairs@ 🙁 but have had one from directories who waved pages of UKW forum answers at me 😮 , did’nt like to tell them they were my postings 😉 .

As I only specialise in Bosch, Neff, Seimens, Maytag i guess thats probably why I don’t get any calls.

    Re: Dear BSH Man

This matrix is bigger than the usual one almost the whole depth of the machine

Take care the back of the matrix is only a thin plastic sheet glued over the water ways, when removed from machine it’s very easy to damage, It’s ok when on machine as when clamped to side of tub the tub supports the sheet.

It’s not like the smaller matrix which is a complete moulded chamber.

    Re: TDS offline DVD 2005

put 5 back on and BINGO

Adobe 5 on the TDS dvd is not the standard version, it is rewritten specialy for Electrolux with additional ‘add ons’ to make access to the information possible.

It does tell you of this on the installation information enclosed with the dvd.

Talk about customers not reading the instruction books? 😉

    Re: TDS Offline 01/2004 DVD

TDS Offline has been updated for several months, you should now be using DVD UK 2005.

As always latest copy available from Distriparts (at a cost)

Guess the 2004 copy must have a time limit which has now run out.

Re: Siemens D/Washer Identification Label Scrubbed Off

Remove door front, both side panels, take out two screws holding tub to base at back, lay machine on it’s back remove rest of screws as suggested by sene, pull off base to acess heater. Can be done without disconnecting hoses if it’s been installed correctly. no mess to clear up using this method. 20 to 30mins complete.

Is the defrost element the twin glass tube type? the Neff picture is not very clear, if it is let me know the length of the tubes and I can give you the Maytag equivalent part number.

Have you done a Bosch split tank bearing job

I’ve done several now both Balay and Bosch type, got it down to 45mins, as Eastimark say’s removable front makes it a doddle.

    “frame front door outer velour”)

Think thats the one I need, velour is satin grey colour fitted on stainless steel machines, think the other one is basic white.
Will talk to them tomorrow and pm you if they say go ahead.

    Many thanks
