Connect are the UK distributor for the “real” Asko spares

Thanks for that Dave, I don’t have an account with them as I specialise in BSH repairs.

This is a ‘family’ repair 😥 , do you have access to them if so how much is the outer door frame?

Bosch experts confirm this substitute PCB will take care of the E2 error i’m getting so i don’t need to replace the faulty evaporator thermistor?

Yes emsee the panel 263782 will take care of the ‘E2’ fault 😀 ,.
you cannot replace the evaporator sensor it is not available as a spare part and is buried in the foam insulation.

Re: Bosch T/Dryer light bulb ?

Is the light bulb change a simple matter

On some models the lens cover is a simple push fit into the body on three legs, prise it out with small screwdriver, if it’s been well used may be good idea to have new lens available, they do get brittle after a time and the legs snap off

Re: Problem with Bosch fridge freezer KGV3120GB/01

The most likely fault is the failure of one of the foamed in sensors, replacement is not posible but there is a service resolution that can be done by an engineer, (not a diy repair) suggest you click on the big red tool box (repairs@) to find an independent engineer in your area to help you.

Re: Bosch KGV3120GB/01 compressor wont run

On four pin edge connector DO NOT TOUCH WIRES ON PIN 2 & 4 only cut the sensor two core lead connected to to terminals 1 and 3 leaving about two inches (old money) 😉 connected to the pins, join them together, job done.

Compressor should run straight away when plugged back in, if it does’nt and you have followed my instructions as above then the fault is not with the sensors, have you checked for power at the compressor? may be blown relay/cutout.

    How can I tell?

KGU3201GB/01 has operating panel inside front facia and flat power board that slots into top of appliance.

KGU3201GB/05 has operating panel inside front facia and power board in compressor recess near lamp transformer

My Bosch KGU3201GB fridge/freezer is displaying a flashing E2 on the fridge display

This fault code indicates a failed fridge evaporator, only cure is replacement of electronic control board in top of fridge (flat plug in one).

sensor modifications do not work on this model

Please post full Enr No. or refer to http://www.bsh.co.uk for price of board. is expensive 😥 if you have any doubts click on the big red tool box to find an independent engineer in your area 😉

You as a private individual can take your gas boiler off the wall if it breaks. Pop down to B&Q, buy a new one off the shelf with no proof of competence required. Take it home and fit it and not a soul can say “boo” to you about it!

Are you sure about this ❓ I have in the past had experiance of gas installations and plumbing and am in the situation of installing the plumbing side of central heating at home at the moment but have been told that boiler manufacturers require evidence of Corgi instalation before they will honour guarantee in the event of failure. Perhaps things are a bit different ‘over the border’ ❓

Just a suggestion but have you tried “repairs@” ( the big red toolbox) on this site.
You may find an independant Bosch service agent in your area who can help quicker. I carry that belt as van stock but unfortunately do not cover your area.
