looks like you need a new ntc (sensor),sits in the top of the freezer evaporator to control defrost.

The RCO kits are good, often use them here.
From the wattage of the compressor work out bthe hp and fit the appropriate one.they do 1/10th 1/8th 1/6th 1/5th,etc,divide 746watts(1hp) by the wattage of your compressor and the fractional answer will be the size of universal starter/relay kit you need.
Contact me if you cant find one.

Thermal cut outs (microtemps) in line from mains supplies to hobs and ovens, fastened in the back to chasis, take back off they are in heat shrink tubes.
    Had one today 🙂
They come as part of the wiring harness by the look of masterparts list but a new one same value could easily be crimped in.Don’t know the rating but orange dome on it (had the contacts in today so will return with a few to repair).fleabay

Re: Fridgemaster MTRF 226A Compressor always on!!

Ice would still occur seen the same smptom many many times,it’s actual evaporating temperatures that count.
If the system has a minute loss pressure will be affected, evaporating temperature possibly usually -23c would rise a few degrees maybe to -17c say, will still frost up but doesn’t have the capacity to attain the temp needed to switch off thermostat.
Also the thermostat sensing phial is positioned at the end of the evaporator channel run so a slight loss will still frost up,it also wont switch off,or freeze the food just runs and frosts up,frosting is not a given that it is freezing correctly its temperatures that count.
As I said if it it is not switching off and everything is OK bar the thermostat then contents would freeze, allow to run for 6 hours or so,if lettuce and lower stuff in the fridge starts to ice then i would agree you have a thermostat problem, thermometer would tell you also.Cheapo chinese compressors usually fitted to these which are carp and prone to losing efficency/pressure also.
Trying to help and save wasting your dosh.
If you still want a part number go back to suppliers,Comet,Currys etc or where you purchased it from.

Re: Trade tech enquiries in this forum

Have got used to this site but the trade spares and technical seem more seperated now than in the old site.
Also the title fonts don’t seem as clear as they could, all a bit pastel, seems a little harder to pick out the particular forums.

If the thermostat was permanently on and your appliance was running correctly the contents of the fridge would be frozen.
You may have one of the following:
compressor, part failure or loss of refrigerant
An engineer would be needed to establish either.

Any frost in the freezer ? could be blocked with ice in the freezer, this would effect air circulation throughout the appliance, freezer and fridge.

Perhaps you get 126 of them for £126 or 2 compressors thrown in for the price!
Like whirlpool can’t be ar$ed to sell carbons and holders and will only supply complete motor yet they are available from other manufactures.
Good job we have the internet to be able to search around,it uncovers a lot

Re: Wall bracket for commercial tap

Hi obviously the base fits onto the sink but the single wall bracket could be found at,http://www.caterparts.com or possibly a quality plumbers merchant would have have that type of fitting.
New ones have it with them usually.
