    Re: Bosch fridge freezer problem

If you removed the back panel you would see the sensors clipped into the evaporator,3 of them.
Can’t help you with their respective values though.
Always unplug when removing panels etc.

    Re: Bosch fridge freezer problem

There is a back plate in the freezer behind which is the fan and evaporator, these can get blocked by frost.
If you aren’t able to remove the back plate then 48 hours of defrost is required ie,empty, switched off with door open.
If you can remove it use a hair dryer to defrost,no sharp or metal objects and switch off at mains.
There are also a couple of sensors which could be problem, you can check if you have the abilty and equipment required.

Completely unnecessary to take the motor off, will make it more awkward than it is,scatched arms etc but 15 minutes maximum which includes vacuuming the fluff out.

    Re: hotpoint mistral wiring fault

Suspect they have connected it to the compressor, fan doesn’t start until temp on evaporator is minus 11 ish so perhaps someone has wired it direct to compressor in a panic !
Only reason I can think of. Two modules fitted to these, email and I’ll send you a copy.

Re: Is regassing ever a solution?

Re gassing is a only a temporary solution the fault will re occur, and under current legislation, and suggested working practices should not be done unless leak has been detected and repaired.

Candy is at the low end(or bottom) in terms of build quality,it could be leaking where pipes disappear into the cabinet voids.
    Replacement or scrap IMO.

I think one would be on the neutral and one on the live side, they were after that contained within one unit,if you can read values on the failed one you may be able to find a suitable replacement from electronics suppliers etc but professional advice won’t be forth coming as you will be changing the original design,if problems occurred then fingers can be pointed.

Many items on this that could be the cause, you now need an engineer with the correct meter to isolate the component that is causing the problem.
Tip,if ever your main trip goes out again unplug everything you can, switch back on mains and you will discover yourself which appliance is causing the problem when you plug each back in saving on the cost of calling out a leccy.
Exception would be the central heating pump which would be permanently wired.
