Don’t forget the fan doesn’t cut in until the evaporator temperature is down to -12c which could take up to 10 minutes.
Plus did you clear the channels through which the air travels to and from the fridge.

Shame that companies don’t field test stuff before unleashing them on the market, they are in such a hurry to market stuff basic design isn’t good enough to give a decent trouble free product.Plus, engineers are struggling too, they are at the sharp end doing thier best, not to mention the customer who has paid out in good faith and ends up with a second rate product and tons of hassle.
Interesting thread, hopefully you will have a better result next time.

Depends on the contents of freezer and ambient temp.At the rate it has dropped so far would expect it to be -20 ish in the morning.

The defrost cycle is usually automatic ie approx every 6 or 10 hours depending on make and model.
Later ones have a sensor which monitors frost and then activates defrost, but I think yours is pre that.
What actual temperature is the freezer achieving?

Over the years yes,on many makes.Think LEC were prone to it.
used to find them wrapped in their own little plastic bag to stop the condensation.

    Re: FF72P Baffle

If the sensor fails it automatically leaves the baffle open, hence the freezing in fridge.
Very small baffle motor can’t see any readings for it.
    Sensor is 2600284

    Re: FF72P Baffle

Fridge thermistor controls the baffle via the board so thermistor should read @20 c room temp 3k.
If you need a diagram pm me.
