Haven’t changed one on this mod but the sensor kit is round £25,the cable will make it’s way to the board at the lower right hand side at the back.
Should read at room temp of 20c approx 5 to 6 (KΩ) if you warm it in your hand ressistance should go down and making it colder would increase the ressistance.

Can’t remember what make but some while ago ordered a gen element which was replacing a 2.1kw and was sent a 2.6 the manufacture said this was OK and was the replacment. Fitted and no problems.

Could be a faulty ptc/relay which is the start device,if the compressor has a mechanical fault it could be going out either on the cut out at the side of the relay or the internal widings protector which is in the compressor.
What compressor is fitted to tihis one?

Sure there isn’t a switch you have missed hidden away in cupboard somewhere.
    Check fuse.

If it’s more than 2 years old the condenser which is underneath could be blocked.
Will mean taking off the plinth and the plastic kick board covering the vents, you may then see fluff etc.Best to pull it completely out of it;s fitment and then you can also check if the motor is running constantly then you could have a refrigerant leak,or a faulty compressor.

Re: amica freezer not freezing help!

The lack of motor running could be:
    thermostat failed
    compressor/motor failed
    relay failed
    poor connection

you wopuld need a decent measure of diy skill plus an avo meter of some sort to check the parts out.

Re: belling d/washer fault code E3

If this has the tube type heater if it gets a coating of lime scale within the tube it can restrict the heating and trigger the fault although it reads OK on the meter..
Have cleaned on once and it was OK but always fit new.Plus check the salt setting and advise the cutomer to ensure softener is not allowed to empty.

If you can post the resistance of the fridge sensor plus the room/ambient temp in which you are testing it,may give a clue.
