Thanks for reply Jim! I tried resetting machine with the float switch disconnected, i get the dashes come up but after a few seconds the pump just kicks back in again. I don,t want to replace the wash pump until i know its that for sure, and i can reset the machine

    Re: Ariston fault code?

From what i can decipher from the error codes for this machine, the first LED flashing along with door lock light is a F08 heater relay fault. Can anybody confirm this please.

    Much appreciated

If the heater comes on when you advance the timer to the defrost mode then i always just melt ice and replace timer.
    Solves problem everytime. 😉

Its probably going to be one of those senarios where the cus has had the machine for two years and never took no notice of it but since its been fixed has sat there watching it and noticed things they hadnt before (Like, gets quite hot) :rolls:

when the hose is recrimped will the seal ok again as the dont seem that tight you would think with the pump pressure the would blow off.

Ive had a lot of trouble in the past with these crimped bands until i discovered from a car spare shop, metal bands that work just like pull ties and are ideal in situations where jubilee clips are either not big enough or too thick.

Re: Ariston chucking water out of soap drawer

But i had the waste hose off the trap and into a bucket and the water was coming out thick and fast once the pump kicked in, on every time i tried it.Surely the only difference between a light spin and normal spin should be the speed and duration. 😕
