Re: Help diagnosing e20 on AEG Favorit 55002 VI

Hi I decided to jump on an existing thread.
I was at the exact same dishwasher model and pnc the same.
the dishwasher overfills then the pump kicks in then it overfills again and so on.
The customer fitted a new pressure switch from AEG but its still the same.
I couldnt get any assurances from the customer that he hadnt blown down the new pressure switch.

no blockages or water in the base.

    any ideas welcomed

Re: Whirlpool to do a recall on Hotpoint dryers

I am loosing work due to this recall. Faulty Hotpoint dryers have been a big part of my workload. They are unreliable but easy to fix I am sure other engineers like me have made a lot of money changing belts, teardrop bearings, fans, water pumps and heaters. I hope whirlpool continue with the same unreliable design.
I would rather change a belt on a hotpoint condenser dryer than change that stupid small belton a beko or change a bel on a white knight condendser dryer, and dont get me started on heat pump dryers.

Re: Whirlpool to do a recall on Hotpoint dryers

I had a guy on the phone he had his condenser dryer modification done.
the belt was broken on it when the engineer came out, the engineer did the modification but refused to change the belt.
Is this normal practice. whats the point of carrying out a modification and
    leaving the dryer not working.
