    Not this time Greg

The water level is controlled via a flow sensor, sits in line with inlet valve and side chamber.

Basically revoles X amount of times then tells motor to run.

We’ve had quite a few of these go down, sorry but I’m crap with remembering part no’s.

But I’m 99.9{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sure that is the culprit.

Try removing the door first (see your instruction book).

Then use a rubber glove to get more purchase on the cover.

    You nasty bugger Jim 😈

I’ve been deliberatley avoiding this thread since Monday.

TBH I thought it would have been Chris that brought it up 😉

Anyway we’ve managed to sign some decent defenders now 😀

Good shout Rick, I’ve also had earth faults cause a problem with door lock, though not on that model.

    Mal,

I find letting the m/c fill to level then opening the door and watching for the drips works.

Normally it is in the goove where the filters sit.

    Re: Bosch WFP3201GB/01 door locked

How do you get the door open on this machine, say in the event of a power cut etc

Remove the kickplate, and above the pump there should be a red pull tab.
    Pull this and door opens.

    F05 is motor fault.

I have had problems with the on/off door release assy in the past, though not many. Could also be a dodgy door lock or connection. IIRC there are two connectors to the lock, have had these work loose also.

Only way to find out is to get in there.

As Greg say’s tie wrap in the holes normally works 😀

You can also carefully prise down the conditioner section and get an old toothbrush in.

    😯 😯 Me too 😯 😯

I take any print outs from laptop with me, to make sure punter doesn’t get hold of it.

That is very surprising that tech dept sent those out.

Re: Bosch WFD 2060 washing machine – Door seal replacement ?

BTW, you don’t need to remove the front panel to fit the inner spring you can do everything through the front door opening

It’s a good deal easier with the panel off though 😉

Am I right in thinking this is a board fault?

    Certainly sounds like it
